After three months of isolation and looking at the words closed, closed, closed everywhere, I quickly reserved a patio table at Stillwaters when I heard restaurants were opening. I first heard of Stillwaters in a Facebook post.
Such an inviting view! |
After looking over the one-page menu, I decided on the chef’s soup of the day—cream of cauliflower with cheddar. The flavour was perfect for me, not too salty; the texture was creamy; the presentation was inviting. It arrived hot.
As soon as customers left, the tables were sanitized, and the plates were cleared away quickly. I never felt rushed. The restaurant patio is spacious, and umbrellas provide shade. There was no loud music—which I appreciated. I recommend making reservations.
Parking: free street parking
Summary: Left me with a favourable I’ll-be-back impression!
